Trilobite (Asaphus expansus) from Sweden
Offered for sale here is an intact trilobite of the species Asaphus expansus from the lower Ordovician (ca 460 million years old), found in limestone at the famous site of Ljungsbro, Östergötland, Sweden.
The trilobite has been "prepared" by the reknowned paleonologist Holger Pihl whose fossils (in particular trilobites) are showcased at e.g. the Swedish Museum of Natural History in Stockholm.
The trilobite is 8 cm long
