Diana Camera

The Diana camera is a plastic-bodied toy camera using 120 rollfilm and 35 mm film. Diana was originally marketed as an inexpensive toy camera but because of its poor quality, the camera produced some very "artistic" and unexpected results and actually became a truly iconic cult camera!

In particular, its low-quality plastic lens has been "celebrated" for its artistic effects, creating a dream-like quality to the print.

Following its unprecedented cult status, this completely crap camera is highly sought after by photographers and artists around the world and a huge number of similar-looking cameras under various brand names exist. This, however, is the original Diana camera.

The original Diana camera, such as this one, can often be found for sale for ridiculously high prices and even later copies of the original camera are often sold for around 100 euro (ca 130 USD) or above 1000 NOK
